My Best friend is Joshua Simmons. Every Friday I bring him lunch from McDonalds. I usually stay in the school cafeteria with him and his classmates. Josh really enjoys these lunches with his Granma. Then we all go out to the playground. Josh plays great with his friends.
Today he was worried because while playing tag with friends, he accidently ran into a teacher. She became angry and sent him to time out. She was so angry, Josh thought he was in time out forever. The nice teacher, Mrs.
Linda, told him everything was OK, and he could go on to his gym class. He went, but again he sat down in time out.
Granma talked to the coach’s helper. She very sweetly went over to Josh and led to his right space in the gym.
Lesson: first teacher who got bumped on playground might need to take autism awareness class this summer. Maybe after she could guide others to be more aware and play more safely.
